Neua lions can be any number of natural colors and any variation of natural markings.
Natural markings on Neua lions are quite different from natural markings on other lions. Stripes and spots are common on Neua lions and some may even look like unnatural markings, but they're natural pelt designs as long as they're a natural color. There are a few exceptions to this, of course, and sometimes Neua lions are born with unnatural colored pelts or unnatural colored markings that are still natural markings.
To Neua lions, a natural marking is defined as any marking that did not get taken back by the gods, no matter the color.
Natural markings may have something to do with the lion's patron god, a prophecy, greek myths, etc. However, most don't and are simply based on genetics. Coloring seems to be especially reliant on genes, but lions have been known to have different colors than parents. Markings themselves are a bit less reliant on genes, but still pretty reliant on genetics.
